ICT Support Technician (Junior) | Level 1/2 | Cairns Based

The Client

Our client is a long standing, reputable managed service provider located in Cairns. They have an enviable reputation for providing exceptional levels of customers service in the installation, configuration and maintenance of IT infrastructure for small and medium sized organisations.

The Opportunity

Our client is currently looking for an entry level person (or Graduate) who is motivated to further develop their career as an ICT Support Technician. As they have a diverse client base, this role will expose you to a diverse variety of work involvV2ing exciting new technical challenges which will in-turn, enable you to learn many new ICT based skills. In this role, you will be provided all the training required in addition to being provided the necessary tools of the trade.

About You

If you are someone with a passion for fixing IT based problems who is looking to break into the IT industry and joining a great team of professionals, this role is for you. This role is ideally suited to a recent school lever or someone currently undertaking (or recently completed) studies in the ICT arena.

You will be provided the opportunity to learn about the following:

• Server-based assistance;
• Software fixes & updates;
• Configuration and management of routers/modems;
• Set up of computers for client use;
• Server updates and patches.

To be eligible to apply for this job, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have an appropriate visa to be able to live and work in Australia.
